If there's one book which I have continuously looked at at the book store, browsed through, found everything lovely, and put the book away again, it would be this one.
Last autumn I suddenly remembered my love for the band Green Day and went to see them in concert even. For a while I felt like the fangirl I used to be 10 years ago - it felt fantastic! So when I learned that Billie Joe's wife Adrienne Armstrong is a knitter and has made a book with Vickie Howell, and learned that the book will be concentrating on ecologically conscious knitting (something very close to my heart), I just had to get the book!
Kitty Knits: Projects for Cats and Their People by Donna Druchunas is a great knitting book for a cat lover! It's filled with beautiful and useful knits for cats and the cat owners. I have already knit the mouse and am impressed.
I love the photography in this book! Erika Knight's book Simple knits for easy living has many easy patterns for the home - throws, cushions, bathing bags and rugs. All of them are so beautifully photographed, that I would like to knit them all right away. I will, someday.
Bought the book Pursenalities by Eva Wiechmann a few days back. Got it as second hand, and hadn't seen it before - it just sounded so good!
